Logo
Used to identify companies and other entities, a logo is a unique design,
symbol, or other graphical element, sometimes combined with a logotype,
that forms a trademark or brand. In branding and marketing, a logo is designed
to facilitate immediate recognition, inspire trust and admiration, loyalty
or an implied superiority.
The logo is one component of a company's
brand.
Also: A programming language developed for teaching young children.
Logotype
The name of the organization in a specified and/or stylized typeface. A word or words in the name, not an image or icon.
