Matte Coated — Paper Stock
This stock is finely coated with a non-gloss finish. It provides an excellent opaque base for easy to read, crisp typography. Often used for brochures, catalog inserts, and flyers.
Moire
An unattractive and undesirable pattern that appears in images when halftones and screen tints are made with improperly aligned screens. Moire patterns can can also appear when patterns in an image, such as plaid, conflicts with a halftone dot pattern. Moire patterns also often result when previously printed (therefore, previously screened) are rescanned or re-screened.
