Opt-In Email List
The list of email addresses, names, and other contact information collected by a site visitor who voluntarily signs up to receive future email from the site. It is referred to as an "opt-in email" list because members have opted to be on the list, often after visiting a "squeeze page." Some internet marketers send an immediate confirmation email with a link for the visitor to confirm this opt-in before receiving further emails. Lists built using this extra step required of visitors is often called "double opt-in" because it takes two steps for the visitor to confirm that they wanted to join the list.
Overprint
A term used when one image is printed over a previously printed image, such as printing solid type over a screen. May also be used when common elements are printed on a large quantity of stock, and then variable elements are printed separately on smaller quantities of the preprinted stock. Also called surprint.
